1. peonies 2. hook 3. magazine rack 4. gold leaf pots
Weekly Wishlist time! Again, it’s a bit Spring-like, fresh and bright. Peonies is on the top of the list. Some of you may already know that they are my favourite flowers. My grandparents used to have a huge bush in their garden and it was so glorious when these flowers would bloom – starting off as tight, round bundles and opening into these fluffy, perfumed puffs. Next up, the Cliffhanger Hook, designed by Thomas Schmitz. If you live in an old building with exposed water pipes like the ones in the picture, these little guys will be practical and colourful in your space. Another practical item; Fashion For Home’s Swing magazine rack. It would come in real handy beside my couch, where I’ve just got a stack of mags on the floor right now. And quite near this stack, lives my new cactus plant, in a terracotta pot. I don’t like the pot as it is and have been thinking of changing it. But then I came across this fabulous gold leaf DIY thanks to The Hunted Interior blog (check it out, it’s awesome and lots more where that came from). So, I think I’m gonna do it guys. It’ll be my first real DIY project for my place. What do you think? I should do it, right? I’m scared… ha!
What’s on your wishlist these days?
❤ Holly
